Everything about a horse, in one place
Logbooks, certificates and reminders usually end up scattered across a binder, an inbox and three phones. EQWIID brings them together around a single reference: the horse's chip.
Thermo Scan
Temperature is recorded at the moment of the scan and feeds a curve for each horse. A rise is visible before it becomes a problem.
Health
Vaccines, dewormers and treatments are tracked horse by horse. Each deadline triggers a notification a few days ahead, leaving time to arrange the visit.
Documents
Equine passport, certificate of origin, breeding certificate, vet reports: every file is filed under the right horse and available from the field.
Transport
Every trip carries a reference, a departure address and a destination. Horses are scanned at each stage, and the official transport record can then be exported to accompany the convoy or prove the journey.
From the reader to the profile, no retyping
The chip reader connects over BLE. Hold it near the withers, press it, and the horse appears with its temperature.
- Temperature is recorded at the moment of the scan and is added to the horse's history, so you see a trend rather than an isolated figure.
- Every scan leaves a trace: the date, the time, the horse, the recorded temperature and the precise location, which opens straight onto a map.
- Nothing gets lost: the full history stays available horse by horse, can be filtered by period, and exports to PDF or Excel.

In the field with your phone, at the desk on a big screen
The same account gives access to a full web interface: temperature curves, scan history, horses on file, transports and contacts.
Nothing is mobile-only. The list of horses, their profiles, their documents, their vaccines and their dewormers are accessible and editable from the browser, exactly as in the app.

Do I need a chip reader to use EQWIID?
To read a horse's chip, yes: a compatible reader is required, and it's ordered from the app. Everything else works without any hardware — stables, horse profiles, documents, vaccines, dewormers, transports and history remain accessible.
Which phones are compatible?
Any phone with Bluetooth Low Energy, which is nearly every model sold in the last decade: BLE has been on iPhones since the iPhone 4s and on Android phones since version 4.3 of the system. The real constraint is therefore the operating system — EQWIID requires [iOS 16] or later, and [Android 10] or later.
Can I change plans along the way?
Pricing follows your headcount: the plan changes automatically as you add or remove horses, with no volume commitment.
Where is my data hosted?
In France, on OVH servers. Your data and your horses' data never leave French soil.
